Opening of the Mehmet Emin Kaynak Library at the iGA Campus

At iGA Istanbul Airport, a living and art space beyond being an airport, a library was established on the iGA campus in order to contribute towards cultural and personal development.

We offer nearly 2,000 books to iGA book lovers in various genres from Turkish literature to history, from personal development to fantasy novels. There is another feature that makes our library important: with our library, we remember the name of our honorable colleague, Mehmet Emin Kaynak, whose untimely death we were sad to hear about and which occurred while he was carrying out his duty as a valuable member of our team responsible for our A-SMGCS (Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System) process.

Mehmet Emin Kaynak was a very valuable member of the team from the very start of the Istanbul Airport project and he made an indelible impression with his devoted work. Today, if our A-SMGCS system, which we proudly show to both domestic and foreign aviation authorities, is in use, Mehmet Emin Kaynak's contribution has been worthwhile.
