Our Social Responsibility Projects

Within the scope of our Social Investment Program, which is an essential component of our sustainability approach, we are committed to addressing disadvantaged groups via fast-acting and sustainable development projects.We aim to provide socio-economic benefits to vulnerable groups, to support entrepreneurship, to participate in activities that support agriculture and stock farming, to realize projects designed with back-and-forth recycling that contribute to the circular economy, to reach households in need through basic aid, to participate in sports, culture, and arts activities, and to participate in basic health care activities. We have always tried to contribute to services and prioritize stakeholder collaboration, and make every effort to demonstrate an approach of social responsibility in all of our projects and operations. iGART: Art's Gateway to the World

At iGA Istanbul Airport, one of the largest meeting points in the world, bringing in art adds an aesthetic dimension to our commitment to pleasing large crowds of people. It is important for us to welcome passengers into an environment enhanced by the healing and calming power of art. In a fast paced world, where almost everything seeks a practical solution, we are committed to offering alternative solutions such as highlighting the importance of art, a much neglected area in our everyday lives, in the settings we create . In this context, and particularly for Turkish art and artists, we are leading the way in introducing various artworks to wide audiences. You can find the works exhibited under the iGART roof here.

People First and Foremost

Within the framework of our "People First and Foremost" approach and our "Healthy and Safe Airport" pledge, we act with the goal of maintaining the health and safety of our employees, guests, stakeholders, and suppliers.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone who may be affected by operating activities at our airport which has a ISO 45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System certificate:

• We design our processes and procedures within the framework of our management system and implement them effectively to improve human health.
• We carry out field inspections and conduct risk and opportunity assessment studies.
• We carry out training and informational activities to build a positive OSH Culture.
• We identify common control measures to protect health and safety through effective stakeholder communication.
• We encourage employees to report threats and close-call incidents using a reward system.
• We meticulously review the feedback we receive through different communication channels and take the necessary actions.
• We look into incidents that result in injuries or health impairment, analyze the root causes, and take necessary precautions to avoid re-occurrences or similar incidents.
• We ensure that Emergency Health Care services and Occupational Health and Safety services are available 24/7.
• To ensure immediate action in medical emergencies, we use electric vehicles such as buggies, gingers, and scooters and keep ambulances positioned at critical locations.
