Our Social Clubs
The İGA Academy Trainer Onboard Program is a comprehensive internal trainer development initiative designed to cultivate new trainers from within the organization and strengthen the learning culture across İGA.
The Secondment / International Staff Exchange Program run by İGA Academy is a strategic development model that enhances knowledge sharing and cultural interaction within the aviation industry.
Participants gain the opportunity to experience operations firsthand, follow processes closely, and collaborate with international teams through 3–12-month international field assignments at leading airports around the world.
The program strengthens communication and leadership skills in multicultural work environments, while enabling participants to deepen their expertise with a global perspective. With this structure, it is regarded as a sustainable learning and career development journey.

Secondee Interviews:
The İGA Academy School of Foreign Languages provides a holistic learning environment designed not only to enhance employees’ language proficiency but also to transform their career journey.
Through in-person language training in English, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian, airport employees develop effective communication skills for daily operations and prepare more confidently for international career opportunities.
Key features include:
• More than 20 weekly conversation club sessions for all levels (both in-person and online),
• Eight professional English development workshops,
• Digital learning platforms accessible at any time,
• An inclusive language environment supported by six native English-speaking instructors working within İGA.
With this structure, our employees do more than learn a foreign language—they build the multilingual professional identity needed for future leadership roles, enhance cross-cultural communication skills, and meet global service standards.
With our internationally accredited, ACI-approved Sign Language Training, we embody our belief in the unifying power of signs. As a result, we are proud to be the airport where International Sign Language is spoken the most worldwide, and we ensure sustainability by including this initiative within our language compensation program.
As the world’s most sign-language-active airport, we remove barriers with our ACI-approved training and make communication possible for everyone—solidifying this pioneering effort through language compensation.
At İGA, we believe that psychological well-being nurtures both individual growth and organizational resilience.
In this context, our Psychological Wellness Center (PWC), operating under the People and Culture Department, works through a multi-dimensional structure supported by a team of clinical psychologists. From individual sessions to group therapies, from psychoeducation programs to field analyses, the center provides a safe, confidential, and supportive process for every team member.
Through our Women’s Leadership Programs, conducted on both national and international levels, we strengthen the leadership potential of women in the aviation industry and provide an inclusive and inspiring development environment.
Within these programs, we offer leadership training to our own women employees and, with the contribution of our women internal trainers, provide mentorship support to future women leaders at other airports.
This program, carried out with our managers who serve as mentors, provides a solid foundation for the personal and professional development of our mentees throughout their career journey.

The 14-week branded courses delivered by İGA Academy’s internal trainers across five different universities provide students with a comprehensive, industry-focused learning experience through both theoretical and practical content.
Located on the İGA Campus, the Mehmet Emin Kaynak Thematic Aviation Library is structured in accordance with international standards, featuring a collection of over 3,000 books, licensed tracking systems, and an advanced automation infrastructure.
Through both physical and digital access opportunities, it facilitates employees’ access to information and supports their continuous development.
