New Cargo Airline has arrived at iGA Istanbul Airport.

Royal Air Maroc, the flag carrier airline of Morocco, has started cargo flights to iGA Istanbul Airport. The first cargo flight took place on Saturday 15 July 2023, and the aircraft was welcomed at iGA Istanbul Airport accompanied by "Follow Me" vehicles. Royal Air Maroc flights will operate using B767 type cargo aircraft. While there were 11 scheduled cargo airline companies at iGA Istanbul Airport with a cargo capacity of approximately 1,5 million tonnes in 2022, the number of cargo airline companies operating as of July 2023, has increased to 18. With a cargo capacity of 4 million tonnes when it first opened, iGA Istanbul Airport is expected to reach a handling capacity of 5.5 million tonnes upon completion of all phases.
