Hüseyin Kadri Samsunlu Period at İGA Airport

H. Kadri Samsunlu, an experienced name from within the industry, is appointed as the Chairman of the Executive Board and the CEO of İGA Airport Operation, founded to construct and operate İstanbul New Airport for 25 years

İGA, aiming to excel in Turkish aviation sector with the İstanbul New Airport project, appointed H. Kadri Samsunlu as İGA’s new Chairman of Executive Board and CEO. Samsunlu, taking office on September 18, 2017, has successfully implemented major change projects in his previous positions and accomplished important objectives thanks to his rich experience in the areas of finance, corporate finance and infrastructure.

Graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics in 1991, Samsunlu completed his MBA at Missouri University. Starting his career as a financial analyst, he worked for various investment companies between 1995 and 2006 as a CEO and Board member. Serving as an investment and corporate finance consultant from 2006 until 2009 in Romania and Turkey, Samsunlu assumed senior manager positions in energy, construction, tourism real estate, maritime transportation and airport operations sector.
