Republic Day on 29th October was celebrated enthusiastically with events held throughout the terminal at iGA Istanbul Airport. While an advertisement entitled #RepublicAnnouncement, was aired, which was made specifically for this anniversary event, the congratulatory message translated into 50 different languages was announced throughout the terminal during the course of the day

iGA Istanbul Airport, one of the busiest and most important transfer hubs in the world, started broadcasting its advertisement created for the 99th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye at the time of iGA's fourth anniversary on 28 October, through its digital and social media platforms. The advertisement, produced by the Digimeb production company, was broadcast under the #RepublicAnnouncement hashtag.

The short film focuses on the 28 October 1923, one day before the declaration of the Republic. The movie continued with "An announcement was made 99 years ago, on 28 October. The Republic was born with this announcement. Is there a more special announcement than this in the world?"“Happy Republic Day of Türkiye”, was translated into 50 languages and throughout the day, the message was announced at the iGA Istanbul Airport terminal.

iGA Istanbul Airport welcomed 29 October with great enthusiasm

In addition, on 29 October, iGA Istanbul Airport hosted the Republic Day Special programme. The Marmara Flute Orchestra & Soloists Parade and the 35-member Symphonic Project (iGABAND) both put on musical performances fitting for the holiday, but Yasin Ark and a DJ performance also entertained the crowd at iGA Istanbul Airport.

The 99th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye and the 4th anniversary of iGA were celebrated at IGA Istanbul Airport, while young people wearing period clothes in the domestic and international terminals handed out the Turkish flag and the Cumhuriyet newspaper on bikes with baskets.
